Mrs. Bertha Wallis, 75, of 2600 Lowell Ave., died at 5:07 p. m. Wednesday at Memorial Medical Center.
A beautician, Mrs. Wallis was born near Girard, the daughter of Frank and Millie Hays Adcock. She was married to Samuel Wallis in 1928 and he preceded her in death in 1976.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Lola Shipp of Nilwood, Mrs. Mae Kunz of Springfield and Mrs. Gladys Casey of Carlinville; three brothers, Howard Adcock of Girard, Ralph Adcock of Eaton Park, Fla. and Frank Adcock of Chatham.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Berry Funeral Home, Girard, and burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.
