Girard, June 23. -- Richard Lynn Hays, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hays, died a few hours after birth at 4:30 a. m. today in Carlinville hospital.
He is survived by his parents; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Coy Hays, all of Girard; grandmother, Mrs. Jeannie Adcock, Virden, great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hays, Girard; great-grandfather, Caleb Adcock, Virden.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at the C. M. Shane funeral home, Girard. Rev. F. L. Crouch, Carlinville, officiating. Burial will be in Girard cemetery.
