Funeral Services Thursday for Mrs. Alta Mae Kirk
Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Baptist Church Thursday at 2 p. m. for Mrs. Alta Mae Kirk, 73, 610 Fairland, Benton, who died early today at the Franklin Hospital.
The Reverend Aubrey Moore will officiate, with interment in Kirk Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kirk, who had lived in Franklin County most of her life, had been in ill health for six weeks.
She leaves her husband, Edgar; three children: Mrs. Fleta Summers and Mrs. Cleo McCarty [sic], Benton, and Darrell Reynolds, Los Angeles, California; four step-children, Mrs. Zola Thomas, Chicago; Mrs. Rosa Monty, California; Leon Kirk and Mrs. Marjorie Kearney, Benton; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and three brothers, R. M., Aaron and Sherman Wingo, all of Benton.
Rebekah Services for Mrs. Kirk
Rebekah Lodge services will be held for Mrs. Alta Mae Kirk at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, an hour before funeral services at the Trinity Baptist Church.
Mrs. Kirk, 73, of 510 Fairland, Benton, died Tuesday. The body is lying in state at the Mitchell Funeral Home.
